Baggergate House is perfectly placed for exploring York and accessing all of its amenities, with Bishopthorpe Road close by, a well-known street filled with deli's and shops, while the centre of the city is a short walk away, with further shops, café, pubs, bars and restaurants.

Close to the River Ouse, you can enjoy a peaceful riverside stroll, or cross Skeldergate Bridge and be met with a host of attractions, including Jorvik Viking Centre, York Castle Museum, York Dungeon and The Shambles, the famous cobbled shopping street.

Visit the stunning Gothic cathedral of York Minster and the National Railway Museum York, filled with railway history and artefacts and discover the National Trust's Treasurer's House, a well-preserved property filled with 17th and 18th century artefacts.
